Rainjooooooooy. I saw you updated and started hyperventilating and then I read it (in fits and starts omg be a working adult is such bullshit) and now I am grinning madly because thiiiiiiisssssss. I LOVE this verse like I can't even say how much, and I am so thrilled you've come back to it twice in a year!!!! I love everything about this. You always do such stunning things with familiar tropes. Like, obviously Alternate Universe is meant to hold up a mirror, I get that, but your characters are so rich and pained and trying that it becomes so much deeper. And to look back at the Kurt from the very beginning of AtoG - how wildly different are all our lives since then? That was years ago, multiple fandoms ago, a pandemic ago. I dunno, rainjoy, I just have a whole bunch of feelings in this Chili's tonight.
