I hope you don't mind me leaving another long and sort of rambling comment. I can't help it. Everything is too good. I MUST TELL YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE EVERYTHING. And you, of course.
- Flashback time! Yisss~! And love at first sight!!! Well – interest at first sight. I’m so pleased :3
- the initial dislike between Athos and Porthos is great! I love reading about people disliking each other and then ending up very much NOT disliking each other.
- I had been wondering how they all met, and about which pair met first, or if they all met simultaneously. The way you had them meet was ideal. This undeniable instant attraction between Aramis and Porthos is the best, and then: ‘Porthos looks at him, and Aramis kisses the side of his chest and says, "Don't worry about it. I'm a gentleman. One step back is fine by me if that's what you want."‘ Thank u, Aramis, that’s so important. Consent and being considerate. A+. Be good to your Porthos. Yes. Very good.
- characters being possessive is like my No.1 favourite thing
- "Were you attacked?" Porthos says, "Kind of." SO MUCH MYSTERY!
- ‘in a tone of voice that means shut up, and Aramis hesitates, then does, kissing the side of Porthos' chest again like it's an apology‘ aaa~h, beautiful.
- that salt thing is so cool!
- ‘Porthos' eyes go wide on the sight of the back of Aramis' neck casually bared underneath Athos' nose but Athos is still just glaring at what Aramis is doing‘ So I take it before Athos bit Aramis, he probably really had little to absolutely no urge to bite him. To bite any human. Right? Wrong? Also: I feel like trash for wanting him to bite Aramis. Hhh~. I am a premium garbage person.
- ‘and murmurs to Aramis as low as he can - vampires' hearing is pretty good, humans' is fucking woeful - "You gonna be alright here with him?"’ Porthos is the best. So caring. So good.
- "I am being nice. He's already said a number of idiotic things I've skimmed over without comment." Heh. Acerbic Athos. Unintentionally funny Athos. You write such a good Athos. Such a good everyone.
- the hand of glory, ugh. Everything about that disgustingness is very well written. *shudders*
- Aramis being able to hear the echoes makes for delicious hurt and angst. Was he able to hear the echoes of his slaughtered friends, too, I wonder? D:
