Ouch, poor Aramis. I have to admit I was fearing confession wouldn't go well. And I wonder how much the priest disapproved of - here Porthos and Athos mostly discuss the homosexuality part but I wonder how the guy reacted to knowing Aramis has had to kill people since he was fourteen... But it was sweet to see Porthos grow all protective in spite of his terrible cold (poor, poor Porthos, I hope he recovers soon) and Athos try to be supportive too (although no, Athos, alcohol is not the cure to all ills).

(The worst being, it is possible that Aramis sleeping with another man was the biggest hang-up. I have some difficulty seeing how loving someone might represent a bigger sin than ending a life no matter the situation, but at the same time the very concept of "sin" is kind of foreign and weird to me, so... ^^')

Also, thank you Porthos for launching the idea of Athos high. Omg. What would that be like? Would he start smiling until it turns creepy? Would he be prone to extreme bad-tripping? Would he be one of those that grow exceedingly philosophical and start ranting with Aramis on the wonders of the universe? I need to know.

Thanks for that update (it was a nice bonus on my lunch break during at day spent at the library)! And I wish you good luck for the upcoming week, my, I really hope you'll manage to do the things you have to do and can get some rest after that. May the Force be with you and all <3
